A warm welcome to the Sporting Club hotel in Pelos di Cadore!
This is a family run hotel opened in 1973 by two brothers Valentino and Eligio Vecellio. For over fifty years, we have been welcoming our guests with passion and professionalism, offering both relaxing and active holidays.
Pelos Di Cadore (800 m.) is a sunny and charming village located at the foot of a hill in the Dolomites. The impressive peaks, Cridola and Marmarole, provide a dramatic backdrop to the surrounding forest scenery.
Its strategic location, at the heart of the Cadore valley in the Dolomites, will allow you to reach the most popular hikes within a few kilometres, and at the same time will immerse you in a pure oasis of peace enjoying the tranquillity and purity of mountain life.
The Sporting Club Hotel (SHC), characterized by a welcoming and authentic style, is surrounded by green and offers extensive gardens and chill out areas, while the space surrounding the two swimming pools has a spacious sun terrace.
Just a short distance from the hotel, guests will find a modern municipal sports arena, perfect for training camps, sports retreats, and summer athletic programs. In addition, two brand-new municipal padel courts are set to open in summer 2025—ideal for guests looking to stay active during their stay.
Our Breakfast Buffet: Every morning, you will be welcomed with a rich and diverse buffet designed to offer a delicious and genuine start to your day. You’ll find a selection of homemade cakes, including soft sponge cakes, fruit tarts with local jams, and freshly baked muffins, alongside a variety of savory options such as cured meats, cheeses, and fresh bread. On request, when booking, we are happy to provide vegan sweets and gluten-free products, so everyone can enjoy a personalized and satisfying breakfast experience.
